Andy entered the financial services industry immediately upon graduating with honors from Birmingham-Southern College. He spent 32 years at First Protective as a sales manager and leading personal producer until being promoted to President. He served as President for 19 years and under his leadership, First Protective led Protective Life, and ProEquities in sales for 19 consecutive years. First Protective was recognized as the largest financial services marketing firm in the south when he took early retirement.
Andy purchased an existing agency and renamed it Providence Benefits in 2017. Providence quickly established itself as a leader in the marketplace by offering SUSTAINABLE GAP to insurance and employee benefits professionals. He also serves as a General Agent for Lincoln Financial and they specialize in Risk Management and planning for businesses and business owners. The professionals at Providence Partners enjoy working with other financial professionals and use their expertise to help them offer life insurance, long-term care insurance and annuities to people who do not specialize in working with these products.
Andy is married and has 3 grown children. He is on the Board of Directors for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the University of Alabama and serves a Board Member at Glenwood, Inc, a non-profit for people with Autism. We appreciate this opportunity to serve you!
