C.H. (Butch) Franklin is a Sr. Partner at Providence Partners. Butch attended the University of South Alabama for 2 years before entering the insurance industry on January 2nd, 1982, and discovering his passion for helping people with their insurance needs.
He started his career with Liberty National, where he held various positions in sales and management for 10 years, achieving many company awards. In 1992, Butch began his own independent risk management firm, brokering for various companies, and obtained his securities license. In 2006, he added an affiliation with Allstate as a financial specialist and worked jointly with multiple Allstate agencies, assisting their clients with risk management. In 2014, Butch accepted a position as Regional Vice President with Ohio National and built the Gulf Coast Region for the company, winning multiple awards and achievements. He left there in November of 2020 and joined as a Senior Partner with Providence Partners, working in the coastal areas of Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. Butch has a passion for working with all the various segments of our industry that serve businesses and individuals with all their risk management needs.
Butch has been married to Janet for 41 years, and they have 2 children, Natalie and Matthew, and 2 awesome granddaughters, Sally and Annie. His hobbies include Golf and singing!
